16.07.2006 - Okay... I reopened the site but I haven't updated it for almost half an year. Let me see... what's new around OTEP.
First of all Otep are working on new material. This is the message Shamaya posted about it in January 2006:
I report to you from the 11th circle of the
lower labrynth a message of avenging hope, spiritual destruction, & sonic
obliteration. Our eccentric arts of salvation & sound are now further
empowered by the guitar guru extraordinaire Karma Cheema (x-American
Headcharge) and the percussive assassinations of drummer Brian Wolff
(x-Synapse).
We have been working almost every day of the week for the past 2 months -
writing, reciting, summoning the dark arts of our sensuous sound from the
most secret places in our hearts. Recording is set to begin in the next
few months.

We are so excited to have this opportunity to bring our dreams to life.
We thank each of you for your unending support and belief. It matters.
We can not wait to bring these songs to you on the road, in the clubs, in

24.11.2005 - OTEP announced that they've officially started working and writing stuff for the third full-length album. For all the Shadow Soldiers, and myspace friends there will be some extra information... So don't wait just go to otep.com and sign in

EVIL J'S BASS STOLEN
Evil J's fretless bass was stolen at a show in Idaho on Feb. 1st. PLEASE
keep your eyes and ears open for anything being offered on ebay or any
other similar site selling used musical instruments.
The bass is a 4 string Carvin fretless bass, 13 years old, brown Koa wood
body, no fret markings on the fretboard. He'd modified several items on
the bass, so it is unique and should be easy to recognize. If you were at
the show and saw anything suspicious or have any information about the
whereabouts of Evil J's bass, please contact me IMMEDIATELY.

16.11.2004 - www.otep-bg.tk was voted as the 442nd "Best Music Website" out of this year's IMA's (Interactive Music Awards). I saw that there was a contest like that from a banner in www.deftonesworld.com and this banner was on the site for really short time. But thank you for supporting the site!!! You are really, really big fans!!!
